Alan Dixon

Alan Dixon is a mathematician by training, with a BA in Mathematics at Carleton University and an MSc in Math at the Universidad de Costa Rica. He has been helping non-profits with their websites since 1997.

In previous careers, he has worked as a school teacher, a computer programmer and for several non-profit organizations, including Peace Brigades International and Canadian Friends Service Comittee.

Chris Caple

Chris Caple is a web and mobile designer and developer with over a decade of experience. He's created complex websites and custom applications for dozens of businesses and nonprofit organizations and has worked near-exclusively with Drupal since 2009. He was most recently occupied for two years as the technical and design lead of a Drupal-based web startup. He volunteers his web services regularly for several local and national environmental, animal rights, and social justice groups, and spent six years living in a Tibetan Buddhist temple.

Karin Gerritsen

Karin is a biomechanist by training (she holds a Ph.D. from the University of Calgary). In 2001 Karin started Semper IT and has been using her computer programming skills towards web design and development for non-profits and very small businesses since. Karin always looks for solutions that engage her clients in their own projects and is very committed to non-profits: in her spare time she is an accredited volunteer for La Leche League Canada and an accredited community coach workshop facilitator for the local Orienteering club.

Reema Tarzi

[Reema is currently working at Toronto Public Health].

Reema has 15 years' experience producing websites. She has worked in diverse roles, from designer to developer to manager and enjoys working in both creative and technological areas. She has a particular interest in usability, information architecture and interface design, finding the most effective ways to communicate online.

She has managed web projects for many non-profit clients and been a client contracting web services herself. She has worked with Drupal since 2004.

Rob Ellis

Rob Ellis is a skilled and experienced system administrator and Drupal developer. He has been working with nonprofits and their technology needs since 1991. His first big Drupal project was the federal NDP site for the 2004 election.
